[Ne'tzer] is the Hebrew word for shoot. This word is the imagery used to describe Jesus growing up from the ancient family line of King David. “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.” Isaiah 11:1
Netzer is the idea of new life springing up from old roots. We believe God is birthing and growing new things, and He is calling and inviting His people to be a part of His work, while honoring the heritage and history we enjoy as a people of faith in Jesus.
Calling and invitation lie at the center of who Netzer is. God has called and gifted the ministry team of Netzer to offer certain services. We offer these things to Netzer-covenant ministries and to anyone else who feels these things may be beneficial. But our offer is simply that… an offer.
Netzer is not a hierarchy or a revamped concept of denominationalism. It is primarily a network of relationships rooted in prayer and conversation, desiring to see “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” We exist for this simple purpose: the expansion of the Kingdom of God on this land of southeastern Pennsylvania. At times we all need help in taking the next steps toward seeing His kingdom expanded in our own contexts. The Netzer ministry team can offer specific customized services to help in this direction. But we don’t push this ministry at all. There is no shortage of things to do in the kingdom and we love to pursue things in His timing. So we wait to be invited into the spaces and places that are ready and seeking to receive and engage these types of services.

from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
