Resources

It is easy for leaders to become so busy managing and influencing that they forget the importance of nurturing their minds and hearts. Listening, reading and seeing are easily replaced with speaking, working and overseeing. The purpose of this resources page is to nurture the heart, soul, mind or strength (or any combination thereof) of the leader.

In each of these spaces on the right is something to LISTEN to, such as a sermon, podcast, song, etc., something to READ with a link to an article or with an article written for that space and something to SEE, a piece of art or image of some kind, either through link or directly on the page.

"It is funny how mortals always picture us as putting things into their minds: in reality our best work is done by keeping things out." -- C.S. Lewis, The Screwtape Letters

this article by Andy Crouch, "Ten Trends of the 2000's”" where Andy analyzes some of the cultural trends of the century thus far…my favorite: the self-shot.

this incredible visual art: Sand and Storytelling. A powerfully moving piece of storytelling using sand and light to tell a Ukrainian history lesson. This is a powerful example of the power of art to express deep meaning and emotion.
