Any honest description of life in vocational ministry will include the word "isolation." Pastors and ministry leaders are surrounded by people, pouring ourselves out to those we serve, yet we can often feel distant and unknown at the same time. But the unique isolation of leadership is compounded by the conditions of life in the modern western world. Never have people been so technologically connected, and never have they felt so alone. Can the church be a community that restores depth and connection, both for its leaders and for all its members?

We invite you to join Netzer for a one-day workshop with Author, Teacher, and Culture-Maker Andy Crouch, as we explore the roots of this issue and together identify ways ministry professionals can thrive and promote the flourishing of others — so that loneliness and isolation are replaced by belonging and love.

ANDY CROUCH is a partner for theology and culture at Praxis and special counsel to Netzer. Read more at
