NOTES

This podcast is a small part of the ministry of Netzer.org. We help to equip and encourage the people of God to know that they are not alone and that God’s household has plenty of wisdom to go around.

PART 1 / 2

Dr. Kyuboem Lee , Assistant Professor of Missiology

[1:55] A good theology comes from the Church engaging in mission. The scriptures are a missional document.

[3:20] "When the Church ceases to be one, or ceases to be missionary, it contradicts its own nature." - Lesslie Newbigin

[4:06] A main task of the Church is to go looking for the one lost sheep that isn't part of the inner circle.

[5:38] Missional theology is not about the church growth movement or attractional church model.

[7:09] "It is... normal for Christians to live in a situation of crisis... Let us also know that to encounter crisis is to encounter the possibility of truly being the church." - David Bosch

[10:00] The Pandemic revealed the need for pastoral ministry reform and church model creativity.

[14:04] Movement ecclesiology is not focused on reaching the masses, but raising up other leaders so they can lead out there, not just in the local institution.

[15:10] Loneliness rewired our brain during the pandemic.
