NOTES

Power in Prayer | PART 1 / 2

Jim Maxim, Acts 4:13 Ministries

[1:32] Mobilizing the church to intercede for pastors.

[2:30] People in the pew are not second class Christians.

[3:30] In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (Ephesians 6:16)

[6:40] Prayer isn't just a practice, but also something with active spiritual resistance; it's a struggle and a battle.

[8:10] Testimony: “It is doubtful whether God can bless a man greatly until he has hurt him deeply." (A.W. Tozer)

[17:55] Intercession brings down strongholds and usher others into the presence of God in order for them to make their own decision to follow Christ.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Corinthians 10:4-6)

[19:25] God wants to engage you!
