DOERING SABBATICAL

The Netzer leadership board is excited to send Jen & Tim into a 3 month sabbatical from July 1 - October 1. This is a matter of belief, conviction, and policy for us at Netzer.

It is also a faith filled reminder of the fact that God alone is fully limitless and irreplaceable. Yet even God chose to rest and commands us to do the same. So we all celebrate when someone is able to set aside specific time to seek rest in the Lord.

Tim & Jen will not be accessible until October. Please connect with the following people regarding different aspects of Netzer...

AFTER THE ALTAR
from Terry Davis / Philadelphia Gospel Movement Executive Director / Netzer Board Member
On May 28th, hundreds of churches and over 1500 believers were together for the Come to the Altar prayer gathering. The questions that comes to mind is: "What now?"

If we follow the picture laid out in Ezekiel 47, then the river of God that filled up in our prayer gathering should flow into the streets where we live. Therefore, as next steps, please begin today speaking words of healing and hope over the people and businesses on your street and throughout your neighborhood. Together, we can cast a net over our city and region that will change the spiritual climate.

GRADUATION
Earlier this month, we had twelve graduates from the RAÍCES Biblical Institute in El Salvador. This was a 15-month certificate program for ministry development. Students worked through the program with coursework in theology & ethics, urban missions, and Biblical studies.

We celebrate the students' steadfastness in overcoming hurdles and pressing on towards the goal. It has been a great year of learning and growing together and we trust that the relationships formed in the school will help mobilize leaders with a further reach of the Gospel.
